Stan Koehl began his journey with Northwestern Mutual as a college intern in January 2000 and quickly transitioned to a full-time advisor by April of the same year, all while completing his bachelor’s degree at Indiana University. Growing up in Fort Wayne, IN, Stan has remained rooted in his hometown, where he currently resides with his six children.
Stan’s personal life is a vibrant as his professional one. He enjoys traveling with his family, golfing with friends and clients, and hosting weekly family dinners, creating cherished memories with his loved ones.
A dedicated philanthropist, Stan has a passion for contributing to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In 2021, he ran in the national campaign for Man & Woman of the Year, following his participation in the local campaign in 2019. In 2022, he was a team member for Deb Sturges’ National campaign, which she won, earning recognition for raising the most funds in the national campaign.
In 2025, Stan expanded his professional horizons by merging his business and becoming partner with Structura Financial Partners. Having collaborated with Structura over the past several years, he is eager to leverage their collective expertise for the benefit of his current and future clients.
Stan holds a wealth of professional designations, including Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL), and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP). He is also licensed with Series 7, 6, 63, 65, and 66 ensuring he brings a comprehensive and highly qualified approach to financial advising.
